First, the warning: Several people from English-speaking platforms are currently warning against the website http://minorattractedpersons.org, which presents itself as supportive to MAPs. According to several people, there are concrete signs in the code and behavior of the site that it specifically collects and stores a range of potentially personally identifying data. In addition, content from other sites may have been modified (using AI?) and reused to make the site appear authentic, but this is only a conjecture by a VirPed user so far. It was said that at least one inquiry has been made to an alleged operator, but a response was still pending.
Addendum: That evening, Sirius had a chance to take a look at the whole thing and came to the same conclusion on VirPed: definitely malicious! A lot of data was being harvested. If you've visited the site in the past, you might want to delete your cookies. All IT people who I have read also agree that the site was very badly designed for its malicious purpose, probably by an amateur. So don't fret too much. ;)
Then my little update: The search function has been disabled for a few months due to bugs. Fortunately, we were able to fix it a few days ago, along with a few display issues. If you still encounter any problems, please let me know.
