Last Friday the team of P-Punkte has released a new project: a whole new forum for German, Englisch and Swiss users!
Other than most anti-contact projects it is not strictly dedicated to peer-support but designed as more of a discussion platform. For this post Rubricappula described it like this:
Instead of self-help, the forum focuses more on discussions. Compared to our self-help chat, the forum is more public, as messages are not automatically deleted, there is no end-to-end encryption, and an entire section is publicly accessible even without an account. In addition, the forum deals more broadly with paraphilias in general, rather than just pedophilia and hebephilia.
Yes, there are already several forums and forum-like platforms for pedophiles, some of which have been around for many years. However, in our view, the existing platforms have glaring shortcomings that make them inadvisable: for example, offenders who do not regret their actions are sometimes openly accepted, the opinion that sexual acts with children should not be punishable is aggressively propagated, or there is simply a generally toxic atmosphere. With the P-Punkte forum, we want to show that there is another way. In addition, we explicitly address not only pedophiles, but paraphilic people in general.
I am very excited about this new project and find it very well designed: visually appealing and easy to use, somehow refreshingly different. I wish the team all the best!
