Updates!

Today a couple of announcements on my own behalf:

Updates of my blog: I have revised some pages of M2C in the last weeks. New information has been added and English translations have been completed:

  • The English translation of the list of my media appearances has finally been completed. In the process a couple of entries have also been updated in German. Above all, I have added a small list of my personal favorites: Pieces in which I found our topic best represented. Currently there are 3 recommendations.
  • Started but not yet finished is the search for media coverage that is no longer available at its original location but could still be found in archives like the Wayback Machine. This is something where I would be very grateful for some help to support this research. Sadly, I am making very little progress myself because I have only so much time and energy. Please, if that feels like something you can do, contact me and we can discuss what exactly I'm looking for and what is needed.
  • Links & Literature has been updated and supplemented. The reason for this is a sad one: unfortunately, even more wonderful platforms have gone offline lately. Hatred is still on the rise and fewer and fewer providers are willing to protect the freedom of expression of pedophiles. Even The Global Prevention Project, with its great podcast full of valuable interviews with pedophiles, activists and companions, has completely disappeared from the web due to ongoing harassment for years. Fortunately, the podcast's episodes have been handed over to the new site The P-Word , where diligent volunteers are transcribing and editing them for publication. In a sense, this site follows in the footsteps of Pedophiles About Pedophilia — another platform that no longer exists.
  • ADDITION: Under “Texts” I have finally been able to add a new English translation to the fable “The Rose Garden” with a bit of delay. In German I have revised the commentary a little.

Comment function: The comment plugin is unfortunately an extremely simple solution. My admin and I have not yet found a better alternative for Grav. (Suggestions are welcome) For example, this plugin is not even able to display line breaks. So far I have even been asked twice why I had not published specific comments. I was surprised, because they simply didn't reach me. All the comments that the comment function has actually saved have also been published so far. I fear that even more may have been lost. So if your comment has not been published yet, please send me your text by e-mail with an approximate time and date. Then Anton and I will see if we can convince the plugin to at least show them when we insert them manually.

M2C-Feed: I have noticed that some feed readers do not update the feed of my blog correctly. Please give me feedback on how this works with the applications you are using. I have had good experiences with Feedbro and Easy RSS, but bad ones with RSS Feed Reader: even a test post of mine that only existed for a few minutes was still shown as online weeks later.

Donations: I would also like to point out the [donation option][donate] and my dependence on support. I have received TWO donations so far. I am very, very grateful for them! 😘 However, by the end of the first year at the latest, when the annual payments are due, I will have to calculate whether and how I can continue to do this. And in this situation, regular small donations would provide more security than one-off larger ones. You don't have to have 50€ spare because literally every single euro helps. It's not just about the wallet: every single donation also says: "Hey, I think it's good to have you around. Please keep it up!"

Thank you for your attention.
